A HERALD OF DEATH. Constantin's birth was an omen to many of the superstitious in Hingashi - the rare offspring of an Au ra and an Elezen. Though he was favored by his father as his heir, there are many who believe that only one from a pure Raen bloodline is fit to become the oyabun of the Onigumi. Assassination attempts were a common feature in Constantin's life growing up, and as a consequence he was taught from an early age all manners of fighting techniques in order to defend himself.
A LOVING FAMILY. His father was one of the most feared oyabun of his time, ruling the Onigumi with an iron hand. His mother was a former dragoon and temple knight, a formidable fighter in her own right. While Constantin was raised well by them, his father expected a certain standard with him when it came to his education and his fighting abilities, knowing that there will be other upstarts in his future to come and claim his position.
ISOLATION. Used to only his immediate family growing up, Constantin has learned to cultivate his own small company of loyal subordinates and advisors that he could count on. To many other outsiders, he often comes across as cold and ruthless, with little emotion. To those who know him best, he could be best described as brooding, emotionless still, but gentle in his actions. He is not above flings, but he does not often expect them to last.

BUSINESS ACUMEN. Though the heir to both their businesses under the Oimikado name and the Onigumi, Kaito did not make it easy for the young Constantin, forcing him to work his way up the ranks from the lowest position, promoting him only when he had deemed his son's work satisfactory.
THE FUNERAL. Kaito died unexpectedly when Constantin was thirty years of age, and it has been rumored that the man was poisoned, and rumors swirled that Constantin was responsible. An attempt on his life was made at his own father's funeral. Since then, Constantin has kept away from the spotlight, surrounding himself only with trusted vassals, and has been actively working to fend off and seek revenge against other rival clans and wanna-be successors seeking to usurp his authority in the last ten years.
